I was born in Pittsburgh, PA and lived in several other states. I live in Hixson with my husband,  I have a son who lives in Seattle (with my grandson), and a daughter in Murfreesboro.

I went to high school in Pennsylvania and got my B.S. in Elementary Education from Indiana University. My Masters Degree is in literacy from UTC.  I am trained as a math coach and a STEM teacher.  For the past 6 years I have been a reading interventionist.

I enjoy swimming, gardening, playing with my dachshund, reading and watching old movies. I love spending time with my family and friends, playing board games, and cooking. I love watching the Steelers play!
