Hello Battle families!!  I'm a second grade teacher at Battle Academy and am starting my 18th year of teaching. I've been at Battle for 15 of those years! I LOVE Battle Academy!!  I've taught kindergarten, first, and second grades throughout my career.  I have a Masters of Education from UTC and I am Nationally Board Certified.  I received my undergraduate in Early Childhood Education from Iowa State University.  

I am married with three children.  My oldest just turned 12 and my youngest are 8 year old twins who are in 3rd grade at Battle this year!  I was born and raised in Iowa and moved to Chattanooga after I married my husband.  I absolutely love teaching and LOVE Battle!
