Lauren Denton


I am in my eighth year of teaching. Prior to Battle Academy, I taught kindergarten for six years at Red Bank Elementary. This is my second year at Battle Academy. This year I am teaching Reading as a response to intervention. I earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga and a master’s degree from Carson Newman University.  I am originally from Cleveland, TN, but have been in Chattanooga for the past 12 years. I am married to Alan Denton, he is a pastor at Ridgedale Baptist Church. I love to read and work on puzzles in my spare time.
